About the Company
Equashield is a global medical company and market leader, engaged in the development and production of groundbreaking Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTDs), which are sold to thousands of hospitals worldwide. It employs experts in the development and production of patented technologies, in combination with AI-based robotic systems that are used for compounding hazardous drugs. In 2022, Equashield was acquired by Finland’s Nordic Capital private equity firm, resulting in the company being defined as a “unicorn” – a startup valued at over $1 billion.
Kahane’s Solution
For this unique project, Kahane Group’s divisions worked in synergy to deliver a comprehensive solution that integrated electrical and renewable energy systems.
What Did We Do?
We installed EV charging stations from ABB throughout the facility, all adapted to the client’s exact needs following a precise specification process. We also provided an advanced ABB control element that uses the KNX protocol to enable smart control of the building’s lighting, air conditioning, and shading systems. In addition, we replaced old air breakers with state-of-the-art new breakers, developed central electrical panels in accordance with client requirements, installed advanced electrical devices by the Italian Vimar brand, and illuminated the facility with blue-free interior lighting by Soraa.
